This warning is still in force due to river levels remaining high throughout today (15/11/2019). The River Don at Doncaster has peaked this afternoon but remains high, and should continue to fall slowly overnight. No further significant rainfall is expected over today and tomorrow (16/11/2019) and levels will fall, however there is potential for a heavier band of rain to move across South Yorkshire on Sunday (17/11/2019).
We are monitoring this situation closely and we continue to support the coordinated multi‐agency response, with our incident room open 24/7.

This warning is still in force due to river levels remaining high throughout today (15/11/2019). River Don at Doncaster is expected to peak around 11a.m and remain at a similar level through day, before falling again overnight. No further significant rainfall is expected over today and tomorrow (16/11/2019) and levels will fall, however there is potential for a heavier band of rain to move across South Yorkshire on Sunday (17/11/2019). River Don
A band of rain has now moved across South Yorkshire and scattered showers are forecast overnight tonight moving into the morning of Friday 15th November. There is reduced floodplain capacity and given the wet ground conditions, the River Don and its main inflows are currently rising in response to this rain. The River level is forecast to peak at around 9am on the 15th of November. River levels are expected to peak much lower than those seen on the 7th and 8th of November and are not currently forecast to result in further overtopping of river banks and defences. The Leeds incident room remains open and we will be closely monitoring the situation.

River levels in the Lower Don are currently rising in response to this rain and are forecast to peak at around 9am on the 15th of November. River levels are expected to peak much lower than those seen on the 7th and 8th of November and are not currently forecast to result in further overtopping of river banks and defences. River levels in the Lower Don have fallen through today. Rain is falling across the South Yorkshire catchment and is forecast to continue until approximately 22:00 this evening, Thursday 14/11/2019, this will be followed by showers overnight into tomorrow, Friday 15/11/2019. There is reduced floodplain capacity and given the wet ground conditions, we expect the River Don and its main inflows to rise later today and into 15 November although levels are not currently forecast to result in further overtopping of rivers banks and defences. River Don
River levels have continued to fall on the River Don, however standing water in the area may remain for the next few days and we expect this to continue to impact properties and access routes.
A band of rain is moving across South Yorkshire today (14/11/2019), which will be followed by showers into tomorrow. Given the wet ground conditions, we expect rivers to respond throughout today and overnight. The River Don is forecast to peak at Doncaster between 06:00-09:00am tomorrow (15/11/2019), but levels are not currently expected to reach the levels seen last week. We have deployed pumps, people and equipment to reduce levels in the worst affected areas, and increase the capacity of our washlands. As a precaution, Doncaster Council have asked the military to sandbag areas affected by flooding last week, in order to provide additional protection.
